Captain Al Laman is VillageAngler.com's Senior Bass Fishing Charter Captain with over 40+ years experience fishing and guiding on Florida's lakes and rivers.
Captain Al Laman grew up on the western shores of Ohio's Lake Erie, where he developed and cultured his love for bass fishing. Al completed college and served four years in the U.S Naval Submarine service prior to moving to Central Florida.
Al spent his first 5 years job shadowing biologists working for the State of Florida's Freshwater Fish and Game Commission. The hands-on-knowledge gained was priceless, as it enabled Al to develop an uncanny ability to understand the underwater perceptions of a body of water, as would have been seen thru a fish's eye!!
